Girl Scouts, BHS host robotics open house Dec. 9

BOZEMAN–The public is invited to a robotics open house on Sunday, Dec. 9 hosted by the Gallatin Valley Girl Scouts FIRST LEGO League robotics team and the award-winning Bozeman High School FIRST Robotics Competition Team.

The event takes place from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the BotCave, a robotics center located at 110 S. Rouse in Bozeman (look for the red door on Rouse between Babcock and Olive). People can stop by at anytime to learn about robotics and see tournament courses and robots built by Girl Scouts and the Bozeman High School Robotics Team. The Scouts and BHS team members will also give information about upcoming robotics tournament and the Super Senior challenge.

All ages are welcome; children should be accompanied by a parent.

The Gallatin Valley Girl Scouts LEGO robotics team, Girls on Fire, is part of the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming, and is sponsored by a grant from Motorola and local funding from FLIR.
