Learn to Snowboard #2-Great Falls (Ages 11-18)

Are you ready to learn to snowboard? In the name of fitness and high adventure, we are going snowboarding at Showdown Montana! This program includes a 2-hour beginner snowboarding lesson, snowboard rental and a beginners lift ticket. There will be trained snowboard instructors teaching the girls about snowboarding safety and fundamentals in a group lesson. A sack lunch will be provided. Families are encouraged to stay after the lesson and allow girls to use their lift ticket to practice the new skill.Girl Scout staff will not be present after lunch so girls who stay to snowboard will need to have their own chaperone.

This session is for girls ages 11-18 at the time of the event.

Supervising adults are needed to help! If you'd like to help (and not participate) please contact Kali Tuckerman at 1-800-736-5243

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
