Compost Stew #1-Casper(Grades K-3)

What's in dirt? Did you know that good dirt can effect the quality of produce and flowers that are growing. Plants like humans need good food to be healthy and strong. Join the Girl Scouts in learning about different kinds of compost, such as brown vs. green.

Girls will see all the different ways to compost and try their hands at worm compost. The worm composting activity from It's Your World Change It! and will be incorporated in this morning program. Girls will also receive a fun patch at this unique science event for young girls.
