Cooking Up Science 2!-Sheridan (Grades 4-12)

Did you enjoy 'Cooking Up Science' this fall? Or maybe you missed it! Either way you will enjoy Cooking Up Science 2! Join us for an evening of food, fun and science as you will get to eat your science experiment!

Dive into the science behind some of your favorite foods!

Girls will create, study and eat their dinner while learning about yeast, physical and chemical reactions, and environmental science (bees and honey). Girls and adults will make their own dinner and receive a participation patch.

Make this event even more memorable by bringing your best NON-Girl Scout friends too! Show them how much fun you can have as a Scout and share this wonderful experience together! Sign up soon so you don't miss out on the fun!

Non-Girl Scouts will pay the annual membership fee of $12 in addition to the program fee, which will enable them to attend all Girl Scout programs for the membership year.

This event is open to both girls who did and to those who were unable to attend Cooking up Science this fall.

This event is open to girls in grades 4-12 and supervising adults.

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
