Sports Sampler-Great Falls (Grades K-3)

What do the UGF Argos, Girl Scouts and sports have in common? A whole lot of FUN fitness! Here's your chance to give Soccer, Volleyball, and Cheer and Dance a try and see what you think!

Girl Scouts and University of Great Falls Argos staff and athletes will be providing girls in grades K-3 an opportunity to try out 3 different sports. While learning about and trying out each sport, the girls will also learn the NAIA Champions of Character Core Values. Each night will have a different Core Value.

Each girl will receive a fun patch upon completion of the 3-night series.

'Recruit a Friend:' Make this event even more memorable by bringing your best NON-Girl Scout friends too! Show them how much fun you can have as a Girl Scout and share this wonderful experience together! Earn a 'Recruit a Friend' patch for each new Girl Scout. The friend's Girl Scout Membership will be paid for by the General Mills Grant, which is also helping support the cost of this program. Contact Jess or Kali Jean at 800-736-5243 if you want to take advantage of the Girl Scout membership offer.

Girls will need to bring their own water bottles. Healthy snacks will be provided after each session.

Schedule is as follows:
April 16 - Soccer, Value: Respect
April 23 - Cheer & Dance, Value: Responsibility
April 30 - Volleyball, Value: Sportsmanship

Register for a program
Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
