Learn to Ski/Snowboard #1- Helena (Grades 2-5)

Are you ready for some winter fun? Come learn to ski or snowboard with the Girl Scouts at Great Divide Ski Area! This program includes a 2-hour beginner skiing OR snowboarding lesson, equipment rental and a beginner's lift ticket. There will be trained instructors teaching the girls about skiing and snowboarding safety and fundamentals in a group lesson. A sack lunch will be provided. Families are encouraged to stay after the lesson and allow girls to use their lift ticket to practice the new skill. Girl Scout staff will not be present after lunch so girls who stay to ski or snowboard in the afternoon will need their own chaperone.

'Recruit a Friend:' Make this event even more memorable by bringing your best NON-Girl Scout friends too! Show them how much fun you can have as a Girl Scout and share this wonderful experience together! Earn a 'Recruit a Friend' patch for each new Girl Scout. Sign up soon so you don't miss out on the fun! Non-Girl Scouts will pay the annual membership fee of $12 in addition to the program fee, which will enable them to attend all Girl Scout programs for the membership year.

This program will fill up fast, so sign up soon for a great winter adventure!

Supervising adults are needed to help! If you are interested in helping (and not participating), please contact Jessica Cumber at 1-800-736-5243 ext. 2108.
