Winter Extravaganza-Sheridan (Grades 4-12)
What could be better then learning how to cross country ski in the Big Horn Mountains? Do you know how to Leave No Trace? Join us for a weekend full of friends and lodge camping in Story Wyoming.
Girls will learn the basics of cross country skiing and have lots of time to perfect their skills before attending a hands on leave no trace workshop that will be presented by the Wyoming Wilderness Association. Leave No Trace is a program for all ages about making good decisions to protect the world around you.
This weekend wouldn't be the same without the Girl Scout traditions of songs, games and even a craft or two. Grab a friend and come learn to ski, learn how you can 'Leave No Trace' and make your own beads for a piece of jewelry!
Make this event even more memorable by bringing your best NON-Girl Scout friends too! Show them how much fun you can have as a Scout and share this wonderful experience together! Sign up soon so you don't miss out on the fun!
Non-Girl Scouts will pay the annual membership fee of $12 in addition to the program fee, which will enable them to attend all Girl Scout programs for the membership year. Confirmation letters detailing event location will be sent out to each registered girl after the deadline.
This event is open to girls in grades 4-12 and supervising adults.
Registration deadline: March 21
Girl min/max: 12/25
