Junior Drawing at the Square-Great Falls (Grades 4-5)
When you pick up your pencil, anything could leap from your mind on to a sheet of paper. In this class, you'll learn techniques to make your drawings even better, which will make it more fun to see what your imagination can do!
First, you'll experiment with different drawing tools to find your favorite 'medium'. Then, learn about how shading and perspective can help make your pictures look more real. Use your creativity to draw like a graphic artist as you design something new. Finally, make your masterpiece with your newly-learned skills, and create a display to show off your work!
All participants will earn the Junior Drawing badge upon completion of the program.
'Recruit a Friend:' Make this event even more memorable by bringing your best NON-Girl Scout friends too! Show them how much fun you can have as a Girl Scout and share this wonderful experience together! Earn a 'Recruit a Friend' patch for each new Girl Scout. Non-Girl Scouts will pay the annual membership fee of $12 in addition to the program fee, which will enable them to attend all Girl Scout programs for the membership year.
