Hands Across the Border-Plentywood (Grades 5-12)
Join with fellow Girl Scouts from Montana, Wyoming and Canada at the 25th Anniversary of Hands Across the Border-Survivors 2013. It will be held in Plentywood, Montana where this event started 25 years ago. The weekend promises to be fun for everyone with challenges, both physical and mental. It will be a tropical atmosphere with activities and surprises for everyone. Hands Across the Border is a weekend camp for troops that alternates between Montana and Canada each year.
Plan to attend this 25th anniversary event and experience the fun, tradition and meet life-long Girl Scout friends from both the United States and Canada.
This outdoor camping event is planned for girls to attend with their troop. Girls must have completed 4th grade in the spring of 2013 to attend. Tent camping will be used for housing and the site will have indoor restrooms. Meals will be served inside.
Sign up by April 15 and the cost is only $60 per person. After that date the registration fee increases to $70 per person. Please note that registration is NOT through the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming but with the local volunteers who coordinate this event.
This event is open to girls in grades 5-12 and supervising adults.
