Destinations 101-Missoula (Grade 4-Adult)
A Girl Scout Destination is your chance to go somewhere new, do something different, and meet people from everywhere you can imagine! Through Girl Scouts, girls are given the chance to travel to destinations across their state, the US, and overseas!
Join us for a fun, engaging event that will teach you all you need to know and more about the different destinations. Along with the locations and approximate prices, you'll learn where other girls have gone and what they've done. You'll play games and hear stories. Plus, you'll learn how you can apply for a destination through Girl Scouts and how you can afford a destination. Girls ages 11 to 18 can apply for these travel opportunities. Not yet that age? It is never too early to start planning and saving.
Don’t be intimated by the price of a destination. There are a variety of scholarships available to help fund your travels. You can also raise money for your destination in many ways including, but not limited to, nuts, magazines, and cookies.
Girls are encouraged to bring an adult with them and also a friend. Friends do not need to be a registered Girl Scout to attend. We do ask that you reserve your place for this informative and fun evening. You may do this by calling Sarah at 800-736-5243 or emailing her at email@example.com. You may also register online at gsmw.org. or via mail.
The event will be held in the large meeting room on the bottom floor of the Missoula Public Library. Girl Scouts will provide a light snack.
Just imagine where in the world you could travel!
This event is open to girls in grades 4-12, friends, and supervising adults.
