Destinations 101-Butte (Grades 4-adults)

A Girl Scout Destination is your chance to go somewhere new, do something different, and meet people from everywhere you can imagine! Through Girl Scouts, girls are given the chance to travel to destinations across their state, the US, and overseas!

Join us for a fun, engaging event that will teach you all you need to know and more about the different destinations. Along with the locations and approximate prices, you'll learn where other girls have gone and what they've done. You'll play games and hear stories. Plus, you'll learn how you can apply for a destination through Girl Scouts and how you can afford a destination. Girls ages 11 to 18 can apply for these travel opportunities. Not yet that age? It is never too early to start planning and saving.

Don’t be intimated by the price of a destination. In addition to our cookie and nut sales, we’ll explore  the numerous other ways to you can earn money for your destinations dreams!

Girls are encouraged to bring an adult with them and also a friend. Friends do not need to be a registered Girl Scout to attend.  Please call Sarah to reserve your spot:  1.800.736.5243 x2306. Current Girl Scouts can register through eBiz.

The event will be held at Gold Hill Lutheran Church. Girl Scouts will provide a light snack.

Just imagine where in the world you could travel!

This event is open to girls in grades 4-12, friends, and supervising adults.

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
