Be Anything, Do Everything-Hamilton (Grades K-3)
Girl Scouts welcomes girls in K-3rd grades to an inspiring night of career exploration and fun. Girls can aspire to be anything and do everything! Mattel has sponsored this event to show girls all the opportunities that lay ahead of them. Guest speakers and volunteers will inspire girls to dream big just like Barbie who has held more than 135 jobs in her lifetime. Girls will get to listen to real-life female career heroes from their communities who will share stories about their jobs and how they have become successful. This event will empower girls and inspire them to believe in themselves and the women in their lives.
Every girl attending will receive a special “I can be…” Girl Scout Daisy and Brownie booklet with activities and games about jobs, job skills, and dreaming big! By attending the event and completing the booklet, every girl will earn their free 'Barbie-Be Anything, Do Everything' fun patch sponsored by Mattel.
This event is FREE! And we encourage parents of non-Girl Scouts to attend. At the event, any Daisy-age girl who is new to Girl Scouting can receive a 'Daisy Days' fun patch by registering for an annual membership.
All current Girl Scouts are welcome to register, but this event is too important to keep to ourselves! So, in order to register, you will also need to register a friend who is not currently a Girl Scout. So, find a non-Girl Scout girl friend in K-3rd grade, and invite her to come with you. Once you have found a girl to bring with you, call Sarah at Girl Scouts to reserve spots for you and your friend. You will need to tell us your friend's full name, age, phone number, parent's name and address where we can send her confirmation letter.
To register, please call Sarah at 1.800.736.5243 x2306. Registration online or through a Girl Scout service center is unavailable for this event. Adults who want to attend need to register, too.
This event is open to girls in grades K-3 and supervising adults.
