Painting at the Square-Great Falls (Grades 2-5)
Learn to paint and color your world in super strokes! Brownies and Juniors will experiment with different moods and techniques as they learn painting techniques from an artist with 25 years of experience in a fun evening of painting at the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art.
Girls will get inspired by taking a walk around the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art and looking at the exhibits. They'll get new ideas about what to paint, and learn how to paint it. Then it's time for girls to paint what's around them! They can choose to paint a portrait, a landscape, or a still life. Traditional and experimental painting techniques will be covered in this session.
Brownies who attend this event can earn their 'Painting' badge.
Not a Girl Scout? Not a problem! Register as a Girl Scout and you can attend too!
'Recruit a Friend:' Girls can make this event even more memorable by bringing their best NON-Girl Scout friends too! Show them how much fun they can have as a Girl Scout and share this wonderful experience together! Earn a 'Recruit a Friend' patch for each new Girl Scout. Contact Jess or Kali Jean at 800-736-5243 to take advantage of the Girl Scout membership offer prior to the registration deadline. The friend will need to register with GSMW and pay the program fee by the registration deadline in order to participate.
