Zink the Zebra-Kalispell (Grades K-5)
Zink is a zebra with spots instead of stripes. At this event, we will provide a fun and unique program that celebrates people's differences through crafts and fun activities based on the story of this very special zebra. Through a delightful and engaging storybook, participants will meet Zink and participate in activities that help girls understand that it’s okay to be different. Zink also teaches girls about the perils of bullying, how to be a good friend, and what girls can do to help others feel special and appreciated.
This program is aimed at teaching girls about acceptance, respect, compassion and understanding. Activities include storytelling, role playing, playing games, making a puppet, and more. Girls will also hear the story of the courageous young author of 'Zink the Zebra', Kelly Weil, and why she was inspired to write the story. In addition, girls will earn a Zink the Zebra fun patch as well as a Zink the Zebra stuffed animal! A drink and a snack is included in the price.
This is a 'Recruit a Friend' event. Invite a non-Girl Scout friend and earn a 'Recruit a Friend' fun patch for each friend who registers. Your friend must register as a Girl Scout for this event. Please call or email Sarah (1.800.736.5243 x2306, firstname.lastname@example.org), and she will send a program registration form for your friend.
