Masterpiece-Helena (Grades 6-12)
Join your fellow Girl Scouts in a fun afternoon of creative expression with clay! Learn how to make functional pottery off the potter’s wheel, paint your pinch pots, learn some basic glazing. All of your masterpieces will be available for pick up once they have been fired.
It's off to the clay studio, where you'll learn how to be a potter yourself! You'll have the chance to express your own creativity as you craft your own pieces of pottery. Then you'll create two sculptures out of clay on the wheel and two sculptures out of clay off the wheel. Finally, you will paint and glaze, and VOILA! You'll have your very own pottery pieces to show off!
Not a Girl Scout yet? Not a problem! Join today and you can sign up for this artistic event.
