Archery #3-Helena (Grades K-5)

Want to be a modern day Robin Hood? Then this indoor archery event is for you! Not only is it intended for fun, but it's designed to increase self-confidence through learning a new skill!

At this indoor program, girls in grades K-5 will learn archery safety basics and be able to handle equipment so as not to endanger themselves and others. Coaches have been certified through the 4-H shooting sports certification program and local 4-H Junior Leaders will be on site to assist the girls. Instruction will focus on the basics, so no experience is required!

After learning the safety measures, the girls will then be able to actively participate in shooting the archery equipment that they just learned about!

Not a Girl Scout? Not a problem! Register to be a Girl Scout today and you can join in the archery fun too!

This is a one and a half hour event. Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing. A snack will be provided at the conclusion of the event.

Please note, no tagalongs allowed at this event.

This event is held in conjunction with Lewis and Clark County 4-H Archery and the County Extension Office.
