Yoga for Self Care-Great Falls (Grades 6-12)
In this four-week, four session-series (one session each Saturday) Girl Scouts can come learn how to strengthen and be more flexible with the body and mind. Yoga helps to create self-esteem, improve balance, flexibility, strength. Learning relaxation skills for stress management, improve mental focus and learn about your breath as an important tool for well-being.
Girls will be taught by a professional yoga instructor from Yoga For Wellness. Instruction will focus on the basics, so no experience is required!
Mats are provided. Girl Scouts will need to wear comfortable clothing, a one piece swimsuit or leotard with sweat pants, and have their hair pulled back.
There is a water fountain on location but they are welcome to bring their own water bottles.
This event is open to girls in grades 6-12 and supervising adults.
