Yoga for Momma & Me-Great Falls (Grades K-5)
In this four-week, four session-series (one session each Saturday) Girl Scouts will discover how to use their bodies, senses, and imaginations as tools to explore and build a stronger, healthier mind and body through the traditional practices of yoga.
Yoga brings increased self-esteem, improved coordination, better balance, strength and flexibility. Mental focus and relaxation skills helps both mom and child!
Mothers and their daughters will be taught by a professional yoga instructor from Yoga For Wellness. Instruction will focus on the basics, so no experience is required!
Mats are provided. You will both need to wear comfortable clothing and have your hair pulled back. There is a water fountain on location but they are welcome to bring your own water bottles.
Mothers, if you are not currently registered as an Adult Girl Scout, you will need to do so before you can register for this class.
This event is open to girls in grades K-5 and supervising adults.
