Junior Barista-Rawlins (Grades 4-10)

Learning a Latte!  Girls will experience a small business environment, taste the difference between a cappucino and a mocha, and visualize how coffee gets from the tree to their cup. Huckleberry's of Rawlins and Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming are inviting girl members to attend a Junior Barista program. The owner and staff of Huckleberry's will show girls all things coffee and the fun, exciting job of operating their own business. Girls will learn the 'art of coffee': the science behind roasting beans to create palate of flavors, and what happens when steam is added to milk.

Girls will experience the excitement and the challenge of owning and operating their own business. They will learn about the components of different coffee house drinks, and watch as those ingredients become their favorite delicious drinks. The cost of the program includes a drink of your choice!

Not a Girl Scout yet? Not a problem! Register today and you can join in the fun too.

This event is open to girls in grades 4-10 and supervising adults.

Register for a program
Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
