Rock Climbing-Casper (Grades 2-12)

Come and join us for an awesome morning on the wall. We will learn tips and tricks and then use that knowledge to scale the rock wall and work together to reach the top! Calling all adventurous girls, and their parents/guardians, to come join us on the wall! 5150 is opening their doors just for Girl Scouts, and we are going to rock the house!

The program starts by talking about some basic skills, tips, and tricks to build your confidence rock climbing, as well as how to identify different holds, and equipment. Then we will head to the wall and learn how to hook up to the lines and what needs to happen before heading up the wall. Then we will see how things look from the top!

There will be routes set and ready to go so that girls and adults, can take their turns challenging themselves and reaching new heights. Girls will get to push themselves to reach their goal and learn to motivate each other to do the same. A snack will also be provided, and climbers are welcome to bring a lunch as well. Parents are welcome to join in the climbing fun and will also need to register to attend. It is sure to be an awesome time. Every girl in 2nd through 12th grade is welcome to attend so let's pack the house and rock it out!

Space is limited for this fun event so register right away!

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
