BFF Retreat-Red Lodge (Grades 6-8)

Come have a blast at BFF (Be a Friend First) Retreat! Mix, mingle, and make new friends in the mountains all while learning how to make a difference at home, in school, and in your world. Spending a fantastic weekend in the woods, girls will make new friends and learn the skills to manage middle school and personal relationships with confidence. Girls will have the complete camp experience full of adventure, relaxation, leadership, and team building. They will gain confidence through the aMAZE Journey that will not only empower themselves, but empower others as well. Girls will learn to 'Be a Friend First' and resolve conflicts to create better environments in their school, community, and beyond!

Here's what to expect: Girls will experience camp through hikes, games, and prepare dinner and s'mores over a campfire (weather permitting). There will be time to lounge outside and bond with friends during a spa night with movies, popcorn, smoothies, and manicures. Two aMAZE awards will be earned through creative teamwork activities, art, and science. This amazing weekend even includes a yoga hour! Girls will take home a BFF bracelet, 2 badges, and the aMAZE Journey book.

*All girls are invited to attend! Non-Girl Scouts will need to pay an additional $15 membership fee and will come away from camp part of the Girl Scout sisterhood. Invite a friend to join you at this weekend just for girls!

This event is open to girls in grades 6-8.

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
