Girls Golf - Anaconda (Grades K-12)
Girl Scouts of MT & WY and Old Works Golf Course are working together once again to bring you a 4-Week Girls Golf Program. Attend all four weeks, and receive a special Girl Scouts golf award! Girls in grades K through 12 will learn to play golf or increase golf skills, build lasting friendships, and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment. The program aims to prepare girls for a lifetime of enjoyment with the game.
Girls Golf will provide a solid instructional foundation for girls who want to:
*Get an introduction to golf skills
*Increase existing golf skills
*Get hands-on help from a PGA professional
*Play for fun with friends and family
*Learn for a future career in business
*Compete at high school, college, and/or local, state and national levels
*Learn a sport that you can play for a lifetime
Golf clubs will be provided to the girls if needed. Parents are welcome to stay at the course during the lesson (you can bring your clubs and practice, too). Only registered adults can expect to help supervise at the actual lesson, however.
When registering, in the 'Special Needs' box, please indicate whether the participant will need to borrow golf clubs, and indicate the participant's height. Please also include any dates that you may not be able to attend. Girls are strongly encouraged to attend all four sessions, but if you have to miss one, just let us know! If you know you will miss more than one day, but still want to attend one or two lessons, please call Sarah M. to make arrangements: 1.800.736.5243 x2306.
This event is open to girls in grades K-12 and supervising adults.
