Art Sampler-Great Falls (Grades K-5)

Everything from Painting & Drawing to Collage, Collaborative Projects, Clay & Jewelry: Girl Scouts at the Elementary Level will learn about a variety of arts-related media.

In this Monday - Friday Art Sampler your Girl Scout will be experiences new forms of art every day! They will receive a tour of the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art and view their collection of current art.

Learn how to make functional pottery both on and off the potter’s wheel, some basic glazing and firing practices, and take home your original works of art.

Then it's time for girls to paint what's around them! They can choose to paint a portrait, a landscape, or a still life. Traditional and experimental painting techniques will be covered in this session.

Girls will learn to draw the world around them in many different medias and learn how to look at things differently as they draw.

Girl Scouts will learn a variety of jewelry techniques that lend to making one-of-a kind pieces at home on your own! Using the museum galleries for inspiration, Girl Scouts will make everything from pins, to necklaces and bracelets.

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
