Horse Camp 1-Carpenter (Grades 3-5)
Now that summer days are here and homework has been left behind, what better to do than spend three days riding horses?
We will spend three days on Pine Ranch learning to care for and work with horses from a qualified instructor, camping out, building teamwork skills, and having fun! Girls will learn how to properly mount and ride horses, navigate obstacles, care for tack , participate in a horse parade and much more. This will be three days of summer that you won't want to miss!
Girls will be responsible for providing their own camping gear and appropriate attire, but all helmets, tack and gear for the horses and cooking supplies will be provided. This is a great experience for every girl who has every thought about owning their own horse. Girls will be split into pairs and assigned their own horse to feed, groom, and care for over the duration of the camp.
This event is ONLY for girls entering 3rd grade through 5th grade. Girls entering 6th grade can choose to participate in either Horse Camp 1 or 2.
