Jewelry #2-Helena (Grades 6-12)
Want more sparkle in your life? Try making jewelry! It's easy and inexpensive to do. Girl Scouts will learn a variety of jewelry techniques that lend to making one-of-a kind pieces at home on your own!
Jewelry is found in almost every culture on the planet. Many cultures use jewelry as symbols. It's sometimes worn simply as decoration, or it can hold great meaning. You don't need expensive gemstones to make great jewelry.
Every Girl Scout will be creating their own bracelet and learning the tools of the trade! You will be able to pick from not only beautiful strands of beads but also from bead soup to create your masterpiece. A fun patch will be provided.
Space is limited, and this program will fill quickly. Sign up soon so you don't miss out on a wonderful afternoon of jewelry making.
