Troop Management-Helena (Adults)
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) is the model for everything girls do in Girl Scouting. It engages girls in discovering themselves, connecting with others, and taking action to make the world a better place. The GSLE is based on a definition of leadership created by girls: A leader is defined not only by the qualities and skills one has, but by how those qualities and skills are used to make a difference in the world.
This Troop Management course will give you the skills you need to guide girls in to becoming future leaders. It includes an overview of the GSLE curriculum, how to manage a yearly troop calendar and bank account, how to navigate pathway opportunities, and what it truly means to have a troop that is “Girl Led”! Come and learn how to build the best troop possible.
You will receive the grade level volunteer pin of your choice upon completion of this program. When you register, please indicate which grade level you would like.
This event is open to adults.
