Exposure to Photography-Great Falls (Grades 6-12)

**This event has been cancelled.  Please watch for rescheduled dates.

Interested in photography? This fun and enriching series will be led by a local woman photographer who will introduce you to your camera and teach you how to best photograph still life and people. Amber Fern with Fern Photography enjoys not only photography but also has a passion for Girl Scouts.

This 3 week series will take you on a photographic journey. During these 3 weeks you will learn about Amber and how she became the success she is today. She will teach you all about your camera and how the digital camera came to be. You will also get to practice photography on your favorite object from home (still life) as well as photographing your fellow Girl Scouts. One week you will get to take an adventure outside of Amber's studio to take pictures of downtown Great Falls.

It is recommended that you have your own digital or SLR camera and memory card for this event. If you do not have these things and want to participate, please contact Kali Tuckerman at the Girl Scout office.

Grab a Girl Scout friend and sign up today to learn about all the extras that your camera can do in addition to taking basic photos.

Register for a program
Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
