Hands Across the Border-Eureka (Grades 5-12)

The 33rd International Hands Across the Border Invitational will be held at Rexford Bench Campground located just west of Eureka, Montana. All registered Boy Scouts, Venturing Crews and Girl Scouts, Girl Guides, Rovers, Pathfinders, and Rangers from the ages of 11 to 20 are invited to attend. This unique event brings Scouts from both Canada and the United States together for a fun filled weekend of events and Scouting Friendship. So come have fun and enjoy the celebration of Scouting.

There will be a 'Best Campsite' and a Dutch oven cooking contest with prizes awarded. Two adults are required for every six youth participants with a minimum of two adults in a group. Registration is not available through ebiz. Juniors must be 11 years old at the time of the event. Please see the links below for more information and for the registration form. The cost is $15.00 (US) per person and pre-registration is equired in order to acquire the appropriate amount of patches and materials.

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.
