Build Your Own Fairytale-Casper (Grades K-3)
Using AIM (Accelerative Integrated Methodology) concepts girls will learn about basic mechanisms and machines. AIM teaching uses key strategies like gestures, useful key words, immersion-like experience, contextualized approach to grammar and cooperative learning.
This highly participatory and active learning environment will be directed by an AIM certified instructor who also has10 year experience working with primary grade students.
During the 6 Thursday classes* girls will earn a fun patch while learning math and science concepts through the fun AIM interactive learning experience. The girls will be building with Fairytale themed LEGO®s.
Classes will include instruction and introduction to building simple machines with LEGO® block building kits and independent creative play time. Girls attending will experience a 'pre-LEGO®' robotics course with a Fairytale theme!
Introduce your girls early to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts in a fun and interactive environment.
*no class on September, 25th. Schedule arranged to accommodate 6 full classes.
This event is open to girls in grades K-3 and supervising adults.
