Horseback Riding-Great Falls (Grades 2-5)

It's finally here! Are you a horse lover? Register for this 5 session series and learn everything from proper horse care to having riding instructions.

Here are the exciting things the girls will do:
*Learn all about horse care. We want the girls to know what it takes to properly take care for horses before they are riding.
*Become a horseless rider so they can be prepared for when they are mounted.
*Learn to ride as though they have a disability.  It is truly insightful - not being able to use all of your senses!
*Ride Horses! A riding helmet will be provided, compliments of Eagle Mount Equestrian Center.

What do the girls need to bring?
*Wear long pants (no slick material)
*Wear hard soled shoes, preferably heeled boots
*Water bottle

No snack or dinner will be provided, please be certain to eat before you come.

A Horseback Riding Fun Patch will be provided at the conclusion of this program.

Due to limited space we are offering this program to girls only.  However, adult volunteers are needed, please register if you are able to assist with this program.

This event is open to girls in grades 2-5 and supervising adults.

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
