Discover Camp 2011: Girls & Guitars

Under the tutelage of professional musicians, learn to play guitar. Girls will learn the basics of music, chords and melodies to well-known songs and will receive guitar lessons each day. Fun projects planned include designing their own leather guitar strap. At the finish of camp girls will receive a certificate of completion. To cap the camp experience, girls will have a campfire concert with instructors and highlight their new skills. Offered at Timbercrest only.

NOTE: Girls will need to bring a guitar. A limited number of guitars are available for rental, which adds $20 to the camp cost. Girls must reserve a rental guitar by May 13 and pay for the rental fee with their camp reservation.

This camp takes place at Timbercrest Camp from June 26 - July 1.
