Crime Scene Investigator-Billings(Grades 4-12)

Fingerprints, DNA, and evidence collection are just a few ways to solve crimes. Ponder clues with Yellowstone County Detectives and unravel the mystery of a mock crime scene. Learn from experienced Detectives what it takes to solve a crime. Everything from scene evaluation, witness/suspect interviews, to preparing an accurate report are all key elements in closing a case but the forensics may be the most interesting.

Examine evidence and do hands-on collection activities using real crime scene investigation supplies. Work a mock crime scene where participants collect evidence, analyze it, and solve a crime.

Register today to take part in this popular program and get a sample of the science forensics can offer.

Program registration deadlines are extremely important for our council.

Knowing the number of girls attending our programs in advance helps us:
  • Determine the number of adults to meet the girl/adult ratio.
  • Allow time to order materials and badges needed.
  • Decide if registration numbers meet the minimum required to hold the program.
  • Have time to mail confirmation letters or cancellation letters.

Visit our FAQs page for information on refunds and other policies.
