DESCRIPTION:\\\'Think globally\, act locally.\\\' Girl Scouts embrace this mantra and explore world cultures during the annual World Thinking Day. At the event\, Girl Scouts will come together to share booths they created showcasing a particular country. To prepare for World Thinking Day\, girls will investigate the culture of a World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) country. They will highlight their findings through facts\, food samplings\, souvenirs\, handmade posters\, and more to present at their booth. In addition\, girls can demonstrate activities\, including sports\, songs\, dances\, and plays to demonstrate the unique world cultures of their particular country.Craft projects\, games\, and food samples abound at this grand global expo. World Thinking Day emphasizes positive connections between Girl Scouts and their sisters throughout the world and coincides with the global World Thinking Day that occurs annually on Feb. 22. As part of World Thinking Day\, Girl Scouts reflect on their place inthe world and ways they can impact lives on an international scale.Download the World Thinking Day application for country and return with proper program registration form(s).Event setup runs from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.\, when booths open. Booths are on  display until 4:30 p.m. and the public is welcome to view booths starting at 3:30 p.m.This event is open to all ages. Supervising adults must also register.
