Description
Girls in grades 4-12 and supervising adults can join the snowboarding odyssey at Discovery Ski Area near Phillipsburg. Beginning girls and registered adults will learn the basics of how to get in and out of their snowboard, and they will learn basic ways to get down the slope. For girls with more advanced skills, the instructors will take them for a tour of the mountain to work on their technique. All lessons are included in the prices listed below:- Package #1 for $22: For girls and adults who want to stay on the beginner chair lift and who need to rent a snowboard, boots, and a helmet. - Package #2 for $8: For girls and adults who want to stay on the beginner chair but will bring their own gear (this package requires your own helmet or rent one for $8).- Package #3 for $30: For girls ages 12 & under who want the challenge of the regular chair lift and need to rent a snowboard, boots, and a helmet.- Package #4 for $46: For girls and adults age 13 and older who want the regular chair lift ticket and need to rent a snowboard, boots, and a helmet.- Package #5 for $16: For girls 12 & under who want a regular chair lift ticket and will bring their own snowboard gear (this package requires your own helmet or rent one for $8)- Package #6 for $32: For girls and adults age 13 and older who want a regular chair lift ticket and will bring their own snowboard gear (this package requires your own helmet or rent one for $8).Please note on the registration form which package you are registering for.All participants must arrive in the rental shop by 9:30am on Sunday, February 17th. Lessons will begin by 10:00am, and girls will be supervised until the lifts close at 4pm. Participants should pack a lunch and/or bring $5-10 more to spend at the cafeteria. Registration for this event must be done via paper registration & mail-in, fax, or email.
