Songs, games, and ceremonies are part of the rich tradition of Girl Scouting. We sing songs for many reasons in Girl Scouts; opening of a troop meeting, before snack or meal time, or simply for capturing the joy of meaningful friendships we have made.We play games to get to know one another, build teams and explore new ideas. Games can serve as an excellent way to overcome challenging situations, enhance your group's self confidence and problem solving skills.Ceremonies mark special Girl Scout events throughout the year. They can celebrate major transitions, such as bridging to another level or getting your Girl Scout pin, commemorate your accomplishment when you earn awards, or simply make the beginning or end of your group's meeting special.Learn how to teach and lead songs and games for others, explore the history of singing, link activities with the Leadership Experience, and identify resources to assist you in facilitating these fun activities. Explore our heritage and discover the types of ceremonies that have been part of Girl Scouts history and connect us through generations. This event is open to adults.Registration deadline: February 5Adult min/max: 5/30
